Department Configuration - The Company Departments tab allows you to define the various organization levels that make up your company. On this screen, you define organization labels that contain a number of departments. For example, you could define a Location organization level, and then define the various locations under departments.
Job Configuration - The Company Jobs Tab lists the jobs and job codes used by HR Management to track employee's role within the company and in their payroll information. Every job your company must have a corresponding job code.
Miscellaneous Configuration - You Used this tabbed page to define a variety of codes that represents company-specific-information:
- Ethnicity Tab: The ethnicity code is assigned to the employee in the Employees Management > [employee] > Personal Information Tab
- Event Codes: Use this option to define definitions for various events (except raises and reviews) in the employee's history (Employee of the Month, Sales Person of the Year). You can also use events to track disciplinary history by defining event categories relating to disciplinary issues (Verbal Warning, Written Warning, and so on).
- Review Codes: Use this option to employee skill codes (Certified Network Engineer, Bilingual, and so on).
- Termination Reason: Use this option to define termination reasons. Termination reasons are informational only and do not affect calculation of pay.
Position Configuration - Use this option to define definitions for various positions and job titles within your company.
