The Company Holiday Calendar is a useful tool that allows you to seamlessly create a calendar of your company holidays for your internal team to reference throughout the year.
Step-By-Step Instructions
To access the Holiday Calendar configuration settings, begin by launching the HRIS Administration module.
Click on the Payroll and Setup tab from the left-side menu and select Company Holiday Configuration Tab.
To start building your Holiday Calendar, first select how you would like to observe holidays that fall on weekends.
If you would like your company to observe holidays that fall on weekends on either Friday or Monday, click Edit and select which day you would like the holidays to be observed on using the Configure Holiday Settings checkboxes.
After these settings are saved, select how far into the future you would like to build your calendar for using the Select Max Year drop-down menu.
You can select the current year to only build your calendar for the current year. Or, select a year further in the future to prepare your Holiday Calendar for multiple years in advance.
Then, choose which holidays you would like your company to recognize using the checkboxes below.
Top Tip: You can add religious holidays by making check the box to Show Religious or create your own custom holidays.
Once you have made your selections, click Build Calendar to generate your Holiday Calendar. If you selected your Max Year in the future, you will see a tab for each year in the range between the current year and your Max Year.
