Redesigned Payroll Grid

Running your company’s payroll has never been easier with our new redesigned payroll grid! The newly designed payroll grid allows you to seamlessly edit payment details for any employee! The edit payroll details screen can be opened with the arrow icon found next to an employee and allows you to:
- Choose from a variety of payment codes such as overtime, commission, holiday, etc. from the codes drop-down menu.
- Enter additional hours and pay rates that will automatically be calculated and added to your payroll.
- Choose departments and job codes for your reporting purposes
- Easily view the breakdown of each pay stub.
- View Check Details and Add Checks
- Add Earning Records, Deductions, Tax Records, and Columns
- View Accruals by hovering over an employee’s+ name
All changes are calculated for you automatically and can be seen being updated in real-time!
Redesigned Help Center

To further assist you with any questions and issues you have with your portal we have released our newly redesigned interactive help center. With our interactive help center, you can now simply type your question into the search bar and find the answer in seconds
The help center can be found on your portal by clicking the “Help Center” link found in your portal or by visiting www.encompass.zendesk.com. The help center widget can also be accessed from your portal. To access the help center widget, simply click the question mark icon found on the top of every page!

Coming Soon: Sexual Harassment and Abusive Conduct Prevention Training

Sexual harassment is the most common type of workplace harassment. Recent statistics show that more than half of all workers (54%) have experienced some form of sexual harassment in the workplace. States and localities have responded to this by mandating employees to take sexual harassment training courses including Illinois and California:
- In August, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker signed Senate Bill 75. The law requires employers in Illinois to provide sexual harassment training to all employees.
- Beginning in January 2020, all businesses in Illinois must provide their employees with annual workplace sexual harassment prevention training.
- Beginning January 1, 2021 in California, an employer having five or more employees will need to provide at least two hours of classroom or other effective interactive training and education regarding sexual harassment to all supervisory employees and at least one hour of classroom or other effective interactive training and education regarding sexual harassment to all nonsupervisory employees in California within six months of their assumption of a position. This training must be provided once every two years
