How To Emulate Users

As an Administrator, you have the ability to Emulate other users in your organization to mimic their view. This is helpful when testing new role access, as well as for troubleshooting employee technical difficulties in the system to identify cases of user error.

Step-By-Step Instructions

To emulate another user, begin by launching the HRIS Administration module in your HRIS portal.

Under Users And Roles > Manage Users, click on the Gear icon next to the user who you would like to emulate.

Then, click Emulate to open up the user's portal view.

Once you are done emulating, select End Emulation in the top-right to return to your original portal view.
